William Noyes was the husband of Martha Gambrel and the father of Laura Noyes. On a recent journey to Independence, Missouri I was able to locate the grave of William Noyes. He is buried at Mt. Washington Cemetery in a section known as the Garden of Eternal Love. William is buried along with his wife, Martha, and daughter, Laura. According to the tombstone William M. Noyes was born in 1853 and died in 1887.
